4 years ago, Helen was asked to transform the look of a CEO/boss from the hit TV series Undercover Boss. She was invited to the set and worked on John Fuller's hair for 4 hours, carefully adding strands of micro-ring loop extensions. It was quite the fun and exciting experience for her and New Hair System, and we're quite thankful to CBS for giving us the opportunity to showcase Helen's talents! Check out season 8 episode 6 HERE.

Most of the people in the hair replacement industry are aware of various attachment techniques. There’s the glue attachment technique, which compliments the tape method nicely. But at New Hair System, Helen uses her special hair system linking method to attach the hairpiece.
BenefitsIt holds strong, and the attachment lasts a long time. Also, you can virtually where it anywhere doing all sorts of activities, like swimming and even martial arts! It’s our patented technique, and without giving too much away let’s just say our clients are thrilled with this method. CaveatHowever there’s one caveat. Ultimately you do need to have your own set of hair on the temple and the nape area for the hairpiece to “link” to. So if you have hair there, you qualify for the hair system linking technique! These silky straight micro-ring extensions are just gorgeous. Can anyone’s hair extensions get any more silky straight than this? You see, we have been perfecting the installation micro-ring hair extensions for over 10 years now. So this picture shows all the effort that went into achieving this look. These extensions are perfect for clients with medium to medium-heavy hair density. Also, they’re natural looking because the extensions and the rings are light and move freely. Ultimately, it’s New Hair System’s go-to method for achieving length and volume.
On this client Helen used about 190 micro-ring extensions, all installed one by one. First, color used was #4, medium brown. Second, the texture of the hair is Eurasian Remy and it’s silky and smooth to the touch. Each carefully prepped extensions were attached to the existing hair of the client. In case it’s not obvious by the picture, these micro-rings (aka micro-cylinders) hold the hair together. Sometimes the extensions can come out when the rings are not tight enough. However, Helen installs them just right to make sure that doesn’t happen. You can see Helen in the background taking a picture of her work. We have been fitting custom Afro-textured hair system for dozens of years. The attachment technique is the same, whether we use the bonding technique or our specialized patented linking method.
Our manufacturing plant has always been very good with matching the kinky texture of Afro-textured hair. As some of you know the grade of curl or “kink” also varies, and we follow our curl chart to make sure it meets the existing texture and curl of our customer’s hair. The hair system here is virtually undetectable. The demarcation like is non-existent, and the fade looks very natural. So don’t worry about the type of hair texture you have, no matter what the situation New Hair System can help! Check out our version of the new hair system make over, with the before and after photos of our client. We have the side profile view and the rear view to showcase the full look of a custom hair system. We used the right texture and curl to match the client’s natural existing hair, then blended well to eliminate any demarcation. Our client was very happy, “Bam! How do you like me now?!”
Check out this client’s before and after photo. The client wanted that cool contemporary look and it was easy to do with our free flowing hairpiece. Helen is able to use her touch to create magic! Needless to say, this client was very happy with the cut-in service.
Here’s a client who wanted to have the slick-back style. The key was using Swiss lace hair system, which is very fine and virtually invisible to the skin. One drawback is that it requires more frequent maintenance and not as durable as other lace systems, but the immediate pros are evident; they are breathe-ability, comfort, and obviously the look!
Prior to the fitting, the client was bald on top, and had some gray showing on his side and back. So to stay consistent with the gray ratio, we opted to go with a custom hair system that was about 5% gray.
Afterwards, the cut-in service was delivered to blend the hair system with his own hair. While we wanted to eliminate the demarcation line completely, we were careful to maintain that natural transition. Lastly, the client wanted a full set of hair with enough density that he was comfortable with. Another successful hair combo class with this fabulous student who traveled all the way from Canada for a one-on-one 30 hour course.
